Peticiones y sugerencias en inglés en estilo indirecto

PETICIONES

Para expresarlas en estilo indirecto:

"John, don't open the windows, please", I said
I asked / requested / begged Jonh not to open the window

"Can you let me use your phone, please?" I asked my neighbour
I asked my neighbour to let me use her phone

  1. Si no aparece let, mantenemos el modal.

I asked my neighbour if I could use her phone

SUGERENCIAS

Suelen expresarse de varios maneras:

  1. let's...

"let's go to the theatre!" she said

  1. Why don't we...

"Why don't we go to the theatre?" she said

  1. Shall we...

"Shall we go to the theatre?" she said

  1. Why not...

"Why not go to the theatre?" she said

She suggested going to the theatre

She suggested that we (sould) go to the theatre
